For his upcoming feature comedy, “Average Height, Average Build,” director Adam McKay is collaborating once more with streaming service Netflix.
Starring Robert Pattinson, Amy Adams, Robert Downey Jr., Forest Whitaker, and Danielle Deadwyler, the movie is a sequel to his 2021 Netflix apocalyptic comedy “Don't Look Up”.
According to the entertainment website Deadline, in addition to directing and producing the film under his Hyperobject Industries label alongside Kevin Messick, McKay wrote the story.
A lobbyist (Adams) is hired by Pattinson's serial murderer to modify the law so that he may commit murder more readily. The murderer wants to stop Downey's character, a retired officer who won't give up on the killings, from following his lead now that he has put down his pistol. The serial murderer becomes Mr. Smith, a cause celebre. The official storyline states, “Goes to Washington figure hiding his true motives.”
The movie's release date has not yet been decided by the producers.
