Today, Rajnath Singh will open the IAF Heritage Centre in Chandigarh

On Monday in Chandigarh, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will open the IAF Heritage Centre and lay the cornerstone for the Centre for Cyber Ops & Security.
The facility is anticipated to draw many tourists from all across the nation. The Heritage Centre, the first of its kind for the IAF, is being constructed using cutting-edge technology. According to a formal announcement, the displays will serve as a source of motivation for future generations and serve as a testament to the Indian Air Force's unwavering spirit.
Rajnath Singh gave his approval on Sunday for the posting of female officers in the Territorial Army (TA) to Engineer Regiments along the Line of Control and as staff officers at the Territorial Army's Directorate General in New Delhi, in accordance with organisational requirements.
This forward-thinking policy step aims to better the job opportunities for female officers while also achieving their career goals.
They will now be able to serve and train in a larger variety of units and positions under the same circumstances as their male colleagues.
In 2019, the Territorial Army started commissioning women officers in the TA Railway Engineer Regiment, TA Oil Sector Units, and Ecological Task Force Units.
It has been determined to expand the range of potential future jobs for female officers in TA in light of the experience obtained during this time.
The Territorial Army is built on the idea of a citizen soldiers' army, and commanders participate in yearly training in fundamental military abilities while continuing to earn a living in the civilian world.
